Refresh an ESXi host
Rescans details of a VMware ESXi host.
Format
/virt/vmw/esx [-id <value>] refresh [-scanHardware]Object qualifier
| Qualifier | Description |
|---|---|
| -id | Identifies the ESXi host. If an ID is not specified, all virtualization objects are rescanned. |
Action qualifier
| Qualifier | Description |
|---|---|
| -scanHardware | Specify to rescan hardware changes also (takes additional time). |
Example
The following command rescans the hardware to discover additional ESXi hosts.
uemcli -d 10.0.0.1 -u Local/joe -p MyPassword456! /virt/vmw/esx refresh -scanHardwareStorage system address: 10.0.0.1 Storage system port: 443 HTTPS connection Operation completed successfully.
