Delete LUNs
Delete a LUN.
NOTE:Deleting a LUN removes all associated data from the system. After a LUN is deleted, you cannot restore the data inside it from snapshots. Back up the data from a LUN to another host before deleting it from the system.
Format
/stor/prov/luns/lun {-id <value> | -name <value>} delete [-deleteSnapshots {yes | no}] [-async]Object qualifiers
| Qualifier | Description |

| -id | Type the ID of the LUN to delete. |
| -name | Type the name of the LUN to delete. |
Action qualifiers

| -deleteSnapshots | Specify that snapshots of the LUN can be deleted along with the LUN itself. Valid values are:

| -async | Run the operation in asynchronous mode. |
Example
The following command deletes LUN lun_1:
