Removing the display hinges
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
- Remove the SD memory card
- Remove the base cover
- Disconnect the battery
- Remove the WLAN
- Remove the display assembly
- Remove the display bezel
- Remove the display panel
Steps
- Remove the six (M2.5x2.5) screws and two (M2x2.5) screws that secure the hinges to the display back-cover [1].
- Lift the hinges and brackets off the display back-cover [2].
