Removing power connector port

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  3. To remove the power connector port:
    1. Remove the M2*3 screw that secures the display cable to the computer [1].
    2. Disconnect the power connector port cable from the connector on the system board [2].
    3. Remove the M2*3 screw to release the metal bracket that secures the power connector port [3].
    4. Lift the metal bracket [4].
    5. Lift the power connector port away from the computer [5].
