ipv6 pim rp-address

Configures a static PIM rendezvous point (RP) address for the IPv6 address family.

Syntax

ipv6 pim [vrf vrf-name] rp-address ipv6-address {group-address group-mask}

Parameters

vrf vrf-name—Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to configure static RP for a nondefault VRF.
rp-address ipv6-address—Enter the IPv6 address of the rendezvous-point for the group.
group-address group-mask—Enter the mask IPv6 address corresponding to the group.

None.

Use the no ipv6 pim [vrf vrf-name] rp-address ipv6-address {group-address group-mask} command to remove the static RP address configuration for the IPv6 address family.
