Verify the network configuration
Use this procedure to verify configuration before adding a VLAN to the network.
Steps
- Verify the Virtual Link Tunneling (VLT) is available between the access switches.
- Verify the port channel between servers, hosts, and access switches are configured.
- Verify the port channel between customer network switches and access switches are configured.
- Verify that the VLAN is created and enabled on the port channel between the network switches and the access switches.
- Verify that SVI is configured on the network switches.
- Verify that you have one VLAN IP address, mask, and gateway to verify the VLAN configuration.
