Rebooting a PowerFlex rack storage node in a two-layer deployment using the PowerFlex GUI presentation server
Use the PowerFlex GUI presentation server to reboot a PowerFlex node.
Steps
- Log in to the PowerFlex GUI presentation server, click the Configuration tab, and click SDS.
- Select the specific SDS to take offline.
- Click More, select Enter Maintenance Mode.
- Select Protected, and click Enter Maintenance Mode.
- Using iDRAC, reboot the PowerFlex storage-only node.
- Take the SDS pool out of PowerFlex maintenance mode.
- Verify that there are no rebuild/rebalance activities before rebooting the next node.
