Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) is the largest physical packet size, which is measured in bytes, that a network can transmit. Any messages larger than the MTU are divided into smaller packets before transmission.
Steps
- From VMware vCenter Server, click the Home tab, and click .
- Right-click the vSphere Distributed Switch (VDS), and select .
- Click the Properties tab, and select Advanced.
- Verify the MTU setting.
- Click OK.
