Changing the server administrator password in Windows 2012
Use this procedure to change the server administrator password in a Windows 2012 environment.
Steps
- Log in to the server using Remote Desktop.
- Press the Windows key and type Administrative tools.
- Double-click Computer Management.
- Expand Local Users and Groups. Select Users.
- Right-click Administrator and choose Set Password.
- Click Proceed.
- Enter and confirm the new password.
- Click OK.
