Verify the VMware ESXi host recognizes the NVDIMM
Use this procedure to verify that the NVDIMM is recognized by the PowerFlex.
Prerequisites
Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
- VMware ESXi host and the VMware vCenter server have VMware ESXi 6.7.
- The VM version of the SVM is version 14 or higher.
- NVDIMM firmware is version 9324 or higher.
- VMware ESXi host recognizes the NVDIMM.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vCenter or single vCenter (customer cluster).
- Select the VMware ESXi host.
- Go to the Summary tab.
- In the
Hardware section, verify that the required amount of persistent memory is listed.
