Disabling the volume RAM read cache with the PowerFlex CLI

Disable the volume RAM read cache with the PowerFlex CLI.

Steps

  1. From the PowerFlex CLI, type scli --query_all_volumes to determine the volume names.
  2. From the PowerFlex metadata manager (MDM), type scli --query_volume --volume_name volume_name for each volume, and determine if RAM read cache is enabled.
  3. If RAM read cached is enabled, type scli --set_volume_rmcache_usage --volume_name volume_name --dont_use_rmcache --i_am_sure to disable it.
  4. Type scli --query_volume --volume_name volume_name for each volume, and confirm that RAM read cache is now disabled.
