Configuring DNS
You can configure or modify DNS settings after deployment.
Steps
- Open an SSH session with the storage VM (SVM) using PuTTY or a similar SSH client, and log in as root.
- In the PowerFlex CLI, type cat /etc/resolv.conf to access the DNS and domain details.

vi /etc/resolv.conf and edit the following:
- search: domain name
- nameserver: DNS server IP
NOTE:Ensure the SVM details are updated in the DNS server to resolve from name to IP and IP to name. - Type nslookup SVM IP to verify the configuration.
