PowerFlex Manager ports and protocols

PowerFlex Manager uses the following ports and protocols for data communication:

22, 80, 135 N/A TCP/IP Outbound Duplicate IP detection
53 DNS UDP Outbound DNS server
67, 68 DHCP UDP Outbound DHCP server
69 TFTP UDP Inbound Firmware updates

TFTP is used only for operating system installation (PXE) boot when provisioning servers

80, 8080 HTTP TCP Inbound/outbound HTTP communication

All traffic is redirected to HTTPs

111 rpcbind TCP Inbound/outbound NFS
123 NTP UDP Outbound Time synchronization
162, 11620 SNMP UDP Inbound SNMP synchronization
389 LDAP TCP/UDP inbound/outbound use this port for unsecured and unencrypted LDAP transmission
443 HTTPs TCP Inbound/outbound Secure HTTP communication

SSL v3, TLS v1.0, and TLS v1.1 are disabled

443, 4433 WS-MAN TCP Outbound iDRAC and CMC communication
139, 445 CIFS TCP Inbound/outbound Back up to CIFS share
514 rsyslog TCP Outbound Remote syslog server communication
636 LDAP SSL TCP/UDP inbound/outbound LDAPS is a secure version of the LDAP where LDAP communication is transmitted over an SSL tunnel
2049 NFS TCP/UDP Inbound/outbound Back up to NFS share
