Increasing the vCPU count according to the SDR requirement
Use this task to increase the vCPU count according to the SDR requirement.
About this task
The physical core requirement is two sockets with ten cores each (vCPU * per NUMA domain cannot exceed physical cores).
vCPU total: 10(SDS) + 10 (SDR) + 2 (MDM/TB) + 2(CloudLink) = 24 vCPUs
Steps
- Log in to the production VMware vCenter using VMware vSphere client.
- Right-click the virtual machine that you want to change, then select Edit Settings.
- Under the Virtual Hardware tab, expand CPU, increase the vCPU count according to SDR requirement.
- Click OK.
