Setting the vNUMA advanced option
Use this task to set numa.vcpu.maxPerVirtualNode.
About this task
Ensure the CPU hot plug feature is disabled, in case it is enabled disable it before configuring vNUMA parameter.
Steps
- Log in to the production VMware vCenter using vSphere client.
- Right-click the VM that you want to change and select Edit Settings.
- Under the Virtual Hardware tab, expand CPU, ensure CPU Hot Plug option is unchecked.
