Modifying the memory size according to the SDR requirements for FG pool-based PowerFlex systems with replication
Use this task to add additional memory required for SDR.
About this task
NOTE 12 GB of additional memory is required for
SDR. For example, if you have 32 GB memory existing in the SVM, add 12 GB for enabling replication so it would be 32 + 12 = 44 GB.
Prerequisites
Steps
- Log in to the production VMware vCenter using vSphere client.
- Right-click the VM you want to change and select Edit Settings.
- Under the Virtual Hardware tab, expand Memory, modify the memory size according to SDR requirement.
- Click OK.
