Steps
- Ensure that the environment meets all system requirements for the new version.

Uninstall the earlier version of the
Avamar Client for Windows.
NOTE You do not need to use the Cluster Configuration Tool to uninstall the proxy cluster client in a Windows Server 2019, 2016, or 2012 for SOFS or SMB cluster. The proxy cluster client uninstalls automatically when you uninstall the Avamar Client for Windows.
