Hardware requirements
The client computer on which you install the Avamar Client for Windows software must meet the minimum hardware requirements in the following table.

250 MB permanent hard drive space is required for software installation. 1 GB is recommended. The Avamar client software also requires an additional 12 MB of permanent hard drive space for each 64 MB of physical RAM. Additional disk space might be required by snapshot technology. Backing up the Windows System State requires an additional 1 GB of free disk space. |
