Enable PAAS

The Privileged Actions Approval System (PAAS) provides a mechanism for requiring and granting approvals for certain predefined privileged actions.

For the list of actions that require approval, see List of protected actions.

The following steps are required to enable PAAS. These steps are the responsibility of a Security Administrator.
  1. Add two initial Approver Users to the ObjectScale system.
  2. Inform the two initial Approver Users that they must log in to the system and change their password, which changes their status to REGISTERED.
  3. Change the PAAS setting to enabled.
NOTE:You cannot disable PAAS after it is enabled. Instead, you can disable the protection modes that depend on PAAS. They are Platform Protection Mode and Account Protection Mode.
