Delete an Approver User

You can delete an Approver.

Prerequisites

You must have security_admin role.

Steps

  1. From the ObjectScale Portal user interface, go to Administration > Security Settings > Approvers.
  2. Click the checkbox at the beginning of the line for the Approver User line that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete Approver.
  4. Complete the dialog that appears as follows:
    OptionDescription
    PAAS is not enabled. Click to confirm that you want to delete the Approver.
    PAAS is enabled. An approval is required.
    • To submit a request for approval:
      1. For Is PAA request available?, answer Not Available.
      2. Confirm the email of the Approver that you are requesting to delete.
      3. Click Create Request.
      4. Monitor the request on Administration > Requests. When the request status is Approved, return to this page.
    • To act on an approved request:
      1. For Is PAA request available?, answer Available.
      2. Select the PAArequestid from the resulting list.
      3. Click Delete.
  5. When the system redisplays the Approvers page, refresh the screen to confirm that the entry is removed.
