Removing the I/O board
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the I/O board and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
NOTE:The I/O board consists of the SD-card reader and the audio board.

Steps
- Disconnect the I/O-board cable from the system board and I/O board, then lift the I/O-board cable from the system board.
- Remove the screw (M2x4) that secures the USB Type-C port bracket to the system board and lift the bracket off the I/O board.
- Remove the screw (M2x4) securing the IO daughter board in place.
- Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
