Dell Wyse ThinOS Version 9.0 Operating System Release Notes
Upgrade to ThinOS 9.0.2108
Prerequisites
- Ensure that you have upgraded to ThinOS v9.0.1136 or ThinOS v9.0.2081.
- Ensure that your thin client is registered to Wyse Management Suite v2.1.
- Ensure that you have created a group in Wyse Management Suite with a group token.
- Ensure that you have downloaded the ThinOS v9.0.2108 firmware from www.dell.com/support.
- Ensure that you have removed the Wallpaper related settings in Wyse Management Suite ThinOS 9.x policy if you are upgrading to ThinOS 9.0.2108 from ThinOS 9.0.1136.
Steps
- Log in to Wyse Management Suite.
- Go to the Groups & Configs page, and select your preferred group.

From the
Edit Policies drop-down menu, click
ThinOS 9.x.
The Configuration Control | ThinOS window is displayed.
- In the left pane, click Advanced.
- From the Advanced menu, expand Firmware, and click OS Firmware Updates.
- Click Browse and select the ThinOS firmware to upload.
- From the Select the ThinOS Firmware to deploy drop-down menu, select the uploaded firmware.

Click
Save & Publish.
The thin client downloads the firmware and upgrades within 120 seconds.
