Installing the system board
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the system board and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps
- Align and place the system board on the palmrest.
- Replace the single (M2x4) screw that secures the system board to the palmrest.
- Connect the following cables to the system board:
- Speaker cable
- Keyboard FFC
- Keyboard backlight FFC
- Touchpad FFC
- Hard drive FFC
- IO board FFC
- Power adapter port cable
- Fingerprint reader FFC
- Power button FFC from the system board
- Fold back the right hinge and install the two (M2.5x5) screws to secure it to the palmrest.
