Removing the system board

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. SD card
   2. battery cover
   3. battery
   4. base cover
   5. hard drive
   6. keyboard
   7. hard drive cable
   8. secondary memory
   9. primary memory
   10. WLAN card
   11. WWAN card
   12. M.2 SSD card
   13. graphic card
   14. power connector port
   15. palmrest
   16. I/O board (left)
   17. I/O board (right)
   18. heat sink
3. To disconnect and remove the eDP cable:
   1. Remove the M2.5x5.0 screws that secure the shield to the system board [1].
   2. Lift the metal shield away from the eDP cable [2].
   3. Disconnect the eDP cable [3].
   4. Lift the tab and disconnect the power connector cable [4].
   
4. To remove system board:
   1. Remove the M2.5X5.0 screws that secure the system board [1].
   2. Slide and lift system board from the computer [2].
