Removing the palmrest

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. battery cover
   2. battery
   3. base cover
   4. hard drive
   5. keyboard
3. Remove the 15 screws (M2.5x5.0, M2.0x8.0, M2.0x3.0) at the bottom of the computer which secure the palmrest to the computer .
   
4. To remove palmrest:
   1. Lift the tab and disconnect the fan cable [1] and system board cable [ 2].
   2. Remove the 11 screws (M2.5x5.0, M2.0x3.0) that secure the palmrest to the computer [3].
   3. By using plastic scribe release the tabs on the edges of the palmrest and remove the palmrest from the computer [4].
