Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. battery cover
   2. battery
   3. base cover
   4. hard drive
   5. keyboard
   6. WLAN card
   7. WWAN card
   8. palmrest
3. To remove hinge cap:
   1. Remove the M2.5x4.0 screws that secure the hinge caps [1].
   2. Remove the hinge caps from the computer [2].
   
4. To disconnect antenna cables:
   1. Flip the computer and remove the M2.0X3 screws from the computer [1].
   2. Pull the antenna cables through the routing hole [2].
   
5. To remove display assembly:
   1. Flip the computer and open the display.
   2. Remove the M2.0X3 screw that secures the eDP cable bracket [1].
   3. Remove the eDP cable bracket [2].
   4. Peel off the tape on the heat sink and disconnect the eDP cable from the system board [3].
   5. Remove the M2.0X3 screws that secure the display assembly to the computer and remove it from the computer [4].
