Removing the speaker

Prerequisites

NOTE Based on the configuration ordered the images may slightly vary from the actual system. The images are still applicable to convey the service procedures accurately.
  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the side cover.
  3. Remove the fan assembly (This applies to 35 W and 65 W configuration systems).

  1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
  2. Press the release tab and lift the speaker along with the cable from the system board.
