Removing the 3.5-inch hard drive bracket
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
- Remove the 3.5-inch hard drive assembly.

Steps
- Pry one side of the hard drive bracket edge to release the tabs on the bracket from the slots on the hard drive.
- Lift at an angle and remove the hard drive off the hard drive bracket.
