Removing the side cover
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in
before working inside your computer.
NOTE:Ensure that you remove the security cable from the security-cable slot (if applicable).

Steps
- Slide the release latch to release the side cover from the computer.
- Slide the side cover towards the rear of the computer and lift the side cover away from the chassis.
