Removing optional powered add-in-card
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the optional powered add-in-card and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Lift the pull tab to open the PCIe door.
- Disconnect the 6-pin power cable from its connector on the powered add-in-card.
- Hold and remove the powered add-in-card from its slot on the system board.
- Close the PCIe door.
