Installing the secondary 2.5-inch hard drive assembly
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the 2.5-inch hard drive assembly and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Insert the hard drive assembly into the slot on the computer until it clicks into place.
- For 2.5-inch hard drive set as secondary, connect the black hard drive data cable and power cable to the connectors on the 2.5-inch hard drive.
