Installing optional Thunderbolt4 module

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps

  1. Lift the pull tab to open the PCIe door.
    NOTE:Applies if you are upgrading the system that did not have these optional modules.
  2. Insert the optional Thunderbolt 4 module into its slot on the system board.
  3. Close the PCIe door.
