Installing the system board
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

NOTE:The location of the memory module may vary depending on the configuration of your computer.
System board connectors
The following images indicate the location of the system board and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps

Align and place the system board into the slot on the palm-rest assembly.

Install the two (M2x2) screws to secure the system board in place.

Align and place the Type-C bracket on the system board.

Install the two (M2x5) screws to secure the Type-C bracket in place.

Connect the display cable and I/O cable to the connector on the system board, close the latches and affix the adhesive tapes.

Connect the touchpad cable, keyboard cable, and USB cable to the connector on the system board and close the latches.

Connect the speaker cable, power adapter port cable, hard-disk drive cable, and fan cable to the connector on the system board.

For 4G LTE enabled computers, affix the WWAN I/O board cable on the palm-rest assembly.

Press the hinge in a downward direction toward the palm-rest assembly.

Install the (M2.5x6) and the (M2.5x4) screws to secure the hinge to the palm-rest assembly.
