Installing the I/O board
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps
- Align and place the I/O board into its slot on the palmrest assembly.
- Install the two (M2x3) screws that secure the I/O board on the palmrest assembly.
- Connect the USB cable and coin-cell cable to the connectors on the system board.
- Connect the I/O cable to the connector on the system board and close the latch.
- For systems shipped with power button, connect the power button cable to the connector on the I/O board, close the latch and affix the adhesive tape.
