Removing heat sink

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. microSD card
   2. base cover
   3. battery
3. To remove the heatsink:
   1. Loosen the captive screws (M2.5x2.5) that secure the heat sink to the computer [1].
      NOTE Follow the diagonal pattern to loosen the screws.
   2. Lift the heat sink away from the computer [5].
