Installing the solid-state drive
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
NOTE The following steps are for the systems that are shipped with an M.2 solid-state drive (SSD).

Steps
- Align the notch on the SSD with the tab on the M.2 card slot and slide the SSD into the slot on the system board.
- Replace the SSD thermal plate, press to fit it firmly to cover the SSD.
- Replace the single screw (M2x3) to secure the SSD to the M.2 card slot on system board.
