Removing the coin-cell battery
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the palmrest and keyboard assembly.

- Disconnect the coin cell battery cable from the connector on the system board.
- Pry the coin cell battery to release it from the adhesive. Lift and remove it from the computer chassis.
