Removing the display panel
Prerequisites
NOTE The following steps are for Latitude 3120 systems.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the display panel and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.

Steps
- Remove the four screws (M2x2.5) that secure the display panel on the display assembly.
- Gently flip over the display panel.
- Peel off the mylar tape that secures the display cable on the rear of the display panel.
- Peel off the rubber sticker from the display cable connector.
- Disconnect the display cable from the connector on the display panel.
- Lift and remove the display panel from the display assembly.
