Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
  3. Remove the display assembly.
  4. Remove the display bezel.
  5. Remove the display panel.
  6. For 2-in-1 systems, remove the touch-panel assembly.
  7. Remove the front-facing camera.
  8. Remove the display cable.
  9. Remove the display hinges.
