Removing the power-adapter port
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive, if applicable.
- Remove the M.2 2280 solid-state drive, if applicable.
- Remove the fan.
- Remove the wireless card.
- Remove the display assembly.
- Remove the system board.NOTE:The system board can be removed along with the heat sink.
