Installing the system board (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/3070/3070 Ti graphics card)
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
NOTE:Replacing the system board removes any changes that you have made to the BIOS using the BIOS setup program. Make the appropriate changes again after you replace the system board.
NOTE:This procedure only applies to computers shipped with a NVIDIA GeForce 3060/3070/3070 Ti graphics card.

Steps
Place the system board on a clean and flat surface.
Using the alignment posts, place the system board on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly, ensuring that the heat sink is aligned against the top edge of the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
Replace the five screws (M2x4) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
Align the screw holes on the Type-C bracket with the screw holes on the system board.
Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the Type-C bracket to the system board.
Connect the display cable to the system board and close the latch.
Adhere the tape that secures the display-cable connector latch to the system board.
Connect the DDS (Dynamic Display Switch) cable to the system board.
Connect the power-adapter port cable to the system board.
Adhere the power-adapter port cable on the system board.
Replace the two screws (M2x2) that secure the right fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
With both hands, use your fingertips to push the right-fan cable into its connector on the system board.
CAUTION:Connecting the cable with the incorrect side facing upwards will cause damage to the connector and the system board. Ensure that the white dot on the cable is facing upwards before connecting the cable.
Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
Connect the touchpad cable to the system board and close the latch.
Connect the keyboard-controller board cable to the keyboard-controller board and close the latch.
With both hands, use your fingertips to push the left-fan cable into its connector on the system board.
CAUTION:Connecting the cable with the incorrect side facing upwards will cause damage to the connector and the system board. Ensure that the white dot on the cable is facing upwards before connecting the cable.
Connect the power-button cable to the USB board and close the latch.
