Procedure

  1. Remove the five screws (M2x1.4) that secure the fans to the heat sink. Image: Removing the fans
  2. Turn the computer base over.
  3. Disconnect the left-fan cable and right-fan cable from the system board.
  4. Peel the tape that secure the left and right fans to the heat sink.
  5. Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the system board. Image: Removing the fans
