Procedure

  1. Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the system board.
  2. Remove the two screws (M2.5x2.5) that secures the I/O board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
  3. Turn the I/O-board over.
  4. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O-board.
  5. Lift the I/O board off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.Image: Removing the I/O board
