Procedure

  1. Align the screw hole on the system board with the screw hole on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
  2. Replace the three screws (M2.5x2.5) that secure the system board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly. Image: Replacing the system board
  3. Connect the power-adapter port cable.
  4. Connect the speaker cable.
  5. Close the latch and connect the keyboard cable.
  6. Close the latch and connect the keyboard back-light cable.
  7. Close the latch and connect the touchpad cable.
  8. Close the latch and connect the fingerprint-reader.
  9. Close the latch and connect the I/O-board cable.
  10. Close the latch and connect the hard-drive cable.
  11. Close the latch and connect the display-assembly cable.

  13. Close the right display hinge.
