Removing the palmrest

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer
2. Remove the:
   1. microSD card
   2. base cover
   3. battery
   4. keyboard
   5. heatsink
   6. fan
   7. audio board
   8. speakers
   9. touchpad
   10. display assembly
   11. system board
   NOTE The component you are left with is the palmrest.

   
3. Install the following components on the new palmrest.
   1. system board
   2. display assembly
   3. touchpad
   4. speakers
   5. audio board
   6. fan
   7. heatsink
   8. keyboard
   9. battery
   10. base cover
   11. microSD card
