Installing the small fan

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

Steps

  1. Place and align the screws on the system board with the screw holes on the fan.
  2. Replace the three screws (M2x4) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  3. Connect the fan cable to the system board.
