Installing the audio and ethernet daughterboard (FFC)
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

NOTE The audio and ethernet daughterboard features a flexible flat cable (FFC).
Steps
- Peel back the system board Mylar.
- Align and place the audio and ethernet daughterboard on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Replace the screw (M2x4) that secures the audio and ethernet daughterboard to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Tighten the captive screw (M2x2) that secures the audio and ethernet daughterboard to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Connect the flexible flat cable to the audio and ethernet daughterboard and close the latch to secure the cable.
- Place the system board Mylar back on the system board.
