Installing the top bezel
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the top bezel and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Route the antenna cable through the slots on the chassis.
- Align the tabs on the top cover with the slots on the chassis and snap the top cover into place.
- Replace the four screws (#6-32) that secure the top bezel to the right and left of the chassis.
Next steps
- Install the front bezel.
- Install the wireless card.
- Install the right-side cover.
- Install the top cover.
- Install the left-side cover.
