Procedure

  1. Open the computer 90 degrees, and using a plastic scribe, release the touchpad from the adhesive on the palm-rest assembly.
  2. Peel the touchpad off the palm-rest assembly.
    • CAUTION: To avoid potential damage to the alignment posts on palm-rest assembly, carefully peel the touchpad off the palm-rest assembly.
