Store Presets To Device

From Alienware Command Center 6.3, you can save the themes or presets (lighting and key bind) to the keyboard onboard memory profiles. You can also switch through the profiles using Profile key (P key) in the device for Pro Keyboards and Fn+F3 key for other keyboards.

About this task

The following are the steps to store the presets to the device.

Steps

  1. Select the keyboard under AlienFX.
  2. Click LIGHTING from the Top-Right menu bar under AlienFX in System.
  3. Create the lighting and click Save Preset.
  4. Click Key Binds from the Top-Right menu bar under AlienFX
  5. Create a Key Bind.
  6. Click Store Preset to Device.
  7. Click Add presets to Slot 2.
    The preset is created.
  8. Click Save.
    NOTE:There are five profiles under Store Presets to Device including one default profile and four custom profiles.
